This Rawlings Premium Series 12.5" first base mitt is designed with high-quality steer-hide leather that softens and breaks in well while maintaining durable shape retention. The single post web offers a sturdy pocket, allowing for secure scooping of throws and easy ball transfer. Built for right-hand throwers, this mitt fits the typical 12.5" size preferred by first basemen, balancing coverage and control. It’s a used model suited to players seeking reliable performance without the break-in time of new leather.

Perfect glove for:

First-time and recreational infielders or pitchers who want a soft glove that needs no work.

The Rawlings Premium Series is an oiled leather baseball glove built on a basket web. A basket web is closed, so a batter cannot see finger placement. Rawlings builds it for infield and pitcher use for that reason. The oiled shell arrives soft, with most of the shaping already done. That softness suits first-time and recreational players over school ball.
