Blades were sharpened off at the end. Looks like whoever sharpened them did not know how to sharpen a figure skate

Packaging arrived busted open even though additional tape was added by postal service during transit. Skates were placed in large box with no padding allowing them to jostle around and bust box open. In light of this, the skates seem fine. Thanks.
