Salomon X-Drive 8.0 Ti Skis

Product Description

Salomon X-Drive 8.0 Ti skis are a great value all-mountain ski. They make smooth turns, are easy to maneuver, and satisfy a wide range of abilities. While these skis are ideal for the recreational skier who spends most of the day on groomed trails, the X-Drive 8.0 Ti is completely capable of handling moguls and variable terrain. The All-Terrain 2.0 Rocker eases turning radius on hardpack and adds float in powder. The Double Ti Laminate uses two layers of Titanal to improve on-piste performance with a higher level of precision and optimal edge grip. A combination of ABS sidewall in the middle of the ski and Monocoque Cap Construction in the tips and tails gives these skis a smooth ride and increased maneuverability.

Expert Notes

Test your skills on the upper piste with the Salomon X-Drive 8.0 skis. These all-mountain skis come with a burly binding and feature All-Terrain rocker for added float on snowy days and an easy turning radius for the hero snow. The X-Chassis features an “X” woven Carbon/Polyamide construction that sits over the middle of the ski to strengthen the ski. This torsionally delivers increased responsiveness. Combined with a wood core and Dual Titanium Laminate, the X-Drive is easily controllable, while still being stiff enough to maintain stability at high speeds. All this technology creates a ski that drives a strong edge into firm snow while staying floaty on the soft stuff.
