The 2022 Atomic Maverick 83 is designed for the skier who wants a balanced, intuitive ride that excels across the entire mountain. Built with Atomic's OMatic Core, it blends poplar wood with fiberglass and carbon layers to provide a smooth, damp feel that absorbs chatter while maintaining plenty of energy for snappy turns. The Flow Profile utilizes a perfect blend of rocker and camber to ensure excellent edge grip on hardpack while allowing for easy pivoting in softer snow or bumps. Lightweight and approachable yet capable of holding its own at higher speeds, the Maverick 83 is a reliable frontside-biased companion that makes every run feel more effortless and controlled. Top Sheet Condition 7.5 This top sheet condition may have some chips along the edges that will not need repaired. There may be moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski usage. The ski may have some epoxy repairs to the edges of the ski. There is no compromising damage to the ski’s top sheet. Base Condition 8.5 This base condition will have some noticeable scratching on some or most of the base. These scratches and scuffs could be removed with a fresh tune without any need for P-TEX repairs needed. There is no deep gouging or pitting on the base currently. These bases may show minor P-TEX repairs from the past but do not need any more. These skis have a fresh coat of wax on them and are ready to hit the slope.
