The 2022 Atomic Maverick 83 is an exceptionally intuitive all-mountain ski designed to help intermediate skiers transition from the groomers into more adventurous terrain. Replacing the long-standing Vantage series, the Maverick features the OMatic Core, a precision-milled poplar wood core that balances stiffness and flex for a smooth, predictable ride. The standout feature is the Flow Profile, which utilizes HRZN Tech in the tip to increase surface area for better float in soft snow while maintaining a tapered shape for effortless turn initiation on hardpack. With an 83mm waist and a nimble 13.5m turn radius, this ski feels incredibly agile and "hooky" in the best way, allowing you to confidently navigate bumps, trees, and fresh corduroy. Condition Information Top Sheet Condition: 7.5 The top sheets are in good used condition with some visible scratching and scuffing, particularly near the tips and tails. You may find several cosmetic chips along the side edges, but none that expose the core or compromise the ski's structural integrity. The graphics remain bold and clear. Base Condition: 7.5 The bases show a fair amount of superficial scratching across the surface. There may be a few deeper scrapes that would benefit from minor P-TEX work and a professional tune. However, there are no core shots or base welds. These skis are safe to ride out of the box, but a fresh tune-up is recommended to maximize your performance on firm snow.
