The 2019 Volkl Mantra M5 marked a revolutionary shift in the Mantra legacy, introducing the Titanal Frame technology that redefined all-mountain performance. This iteration is leaner and more agile than its predecessors, featuring a 96mm waist that strikes the perfect balance between powder float and hardpack carving precision. By placing the metal reinforcement along the edges of the ski rather than as a full sheet, Volkl created a ride that retains incredible edge hold and dampness while significantly reducing swing weight. Coupled with a carbon tip and moderate taper, the M5 is a powerful, high-performance tool for advanced skiers who want to charge through crud and lay down high-speed arcs with absolute stability. Condition Top Sheet Condition 8.0: This top sheet condition may have moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski usage. These top sheets may have one to five chips that do not compromise the integrity of the ski’s top sheet. Base Condition 8.5: This base condition will have some noticeable scratching on some or most of the base. These scratches and scuffs could be removed with a fresh tune without any need for P-TEX repairs needed. There is no deep gouging or pitting on the base currently. These bases may show minor P-TEX repairs from the past but do not need any more. These skis have a fresh coat of wax on them and are ready to hit the slope.
