The 2017 Elan Ripstick 86 W is the perfect companion for the adventurous female skier who spends her days exploring every inch of the resort. As part of the original lineup that redefined lightweight freeride performance, this ski utilizes Elan's TNT technology—a combination of a TubeLite woodcore and VaporTip inserts—to provide a chatter-free ride without the cumbersome weight of metal. Its 86mm waist is exceptionally versatile, offering snappy performance on groomed trails while maintaining enough surface area to float through light afternoon powder or navigate messy spring slush. Featuring the Amphibio profile for dedicated left and right carving precision, the Ripstick 86 W is designed to reduce fatigue and keep you out on the mountain from the first chair to the final sweep. Condition: Top Sheet Condition 7.5 This top sheet condition may have some chips along the edges that will not need repaired. There may be moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski usage. The ski may have some epoxy repairs to the edges of the ski. There is no compromising damage to the ski’s top sheet. Base Condition: 8.5 This base condition will have some noticeable scratching on some or most of the base. These scratches and scuffs could be removed with a fresh tune without any need for P-TEX repairs needed. There is no deep gouging or pitting on the base currently. These bases may show minor P-TEX repairs from the past but do not need any more. These skis have a fresh coat of wax on them and are ready to hit the slope.
