While the STX Amp lacrosse shaft has been discontinued, the shaft is truly a symbol of the beginner's stick. It was likely a majority of current players' first shaft and has been popular for its great price compared to other shafts out there. STX stated that the AMP shaft line was perfect for “youth programs looking to round out their position offerings and stay on budget.”
