Built by lacrosse gear powerhouse East Coast Dyes, the Carbon Pro 3.0 is one of the best shafts on the market. With four different models for players to choose from (Power and Speed for the offensive player, and also a Goalie and Defense shaft), ECD has all their bases covered. The various flexes and kick points on each shaft give players the tools they need to dominate. One downside to the shaft is that the paint can chip easily.

For $130, players get one of Maverik’s top shafts, the Union. Maverik’s goal with the Union was to create a shaft that had the perfect blend of durability and weight. The Union is designed to be thicker in places where the shaft will take more of a beating and thinner in places where it takes less contact to help balance durability and weight. The shape and grip designed for this shaft give players a better feel and grip when shooting and passing.

The STX Fiber X is a newer shaft launched in 2023, offering the X-Grip profile for better finger and hand placement on the shaft. I personally used this shaft last year and loved the way it felt while throwing and shooting; however, the shaft did snap on me when I gave a cross-check.
