FYI - MY UNDERSTANDING / RECOLLECTION (Please feel free to correct me if you are a historian or knowledgeable on the subject): This pocket is in line with STX’s Jai-a-lai form (Jai a lai is a sport with big scoop played in Mexico, Spain and elsewhere). The shape is meant to allow the ball to generate speed while “loading up” in the pocket. A smooth ramp. The pocket has been strung to follow the manufacturer’s head shape. STX markets this head to be very accurate an outside shooter head. The Hyper power is the latest release in a long line of previous heads utilizing the same principles. (Not in correct order, but some of the prior models Ultra Power, Super Power Plus, Super Power 2, Super Power - you get the idea).
