The head uses C-Channel technology to help improve strength in the areas that experience the most impact; this also increases stiffness and stability to enable consistent outlet passes. The head also has a ergonomic throat that helps improve wrist mobility for goalies that play with their upper palm right at the bottom of the head. The top rail also helps create a consistent and tight channel to increase accuracy on clears and ground balls.

It’s true that there are many fewer options available to goalies compared to field players when it comes to lacrosse heads. STX aims to cater to goalies by being one of the leading manufacturers of goalie-specific heads. The Shield is a big advancement over the original Eclipse, and there are many features that set it apart. To start, the new throat design was developed into a newer shape that allows goalies to slide their top hand up higher on their shaft. This, ultimately, helps lead to fewer rebounds. Another improvement? The rigidity of the head. Stiffness is key for blocking as many shots as possible, and from all different angles. * OG Kinetik was great, but the tension lock needed fixing. Kinetik 2.0 is a perfect upgrade for an offensive head. 
* Ideal for attack and midfield positions, allowing you to string a pocket in almost any position, best with mid to mid-high pocket.
* Favorite head to string. Great for people who like to shoot or passers who like a tight face shape.

* The stiffness of the head took some time to get used to, and it affected my cradle and shooting a bit

This head is amazing. It's designed for the elite offensive shooter. The first generation was a top-selling head for 4 years, and the 2.0 brings a lot of updates. It’s very narrow so the head has a ton of ball control, and it has a refined scoop to make picking up balls a lot easier. I like how it strings, it has a ton of sidewall holes so you can make your pocket how you like it. It does just about everything, it shoots well, and the passing is good. It's my favorite offensive head I've ever tried.

* I like this head - it's light and performs great. But, it's too fragile. I've had two breaks in 8 months at the throat. If it were more durable, it'd be the best ever.
* Used this new lacrosse head in college practice and after 7-8 months it cracked near the throat. Love the color and design but not perfect yet.
* It's been working okay for me. Was not easy at first to string the right pocket.

The Tactic 2.0 is an offensive head made for the overall midfielder whether it is for the outside shooter or the precision passer. Offensive midfielders really like the 2.0 because you can shoot well with it, you can pass well with it, and it has a lot of control. Compared to the first model, it has a new scoop to make it lighter and more durable. It has a ton of sidewall options for stringing different patterns. Ned Crotty from the PLL Chrome uses this head as a two-way midfielder.
