Used, rip in sidewall
The STX Stallion 1K is a top choice for midfielders. Building on the original design by NCAA champion Kyle Harrison, it features durable EnduraForm material and the Speed Scoop for easy ground ball pickups. A deeper legal offset enhances ball feel and retention.
I like the face shape of the 1K. It's wide enough to allow me to catch the ball easier but still tight enough for me to have plenty of control. I also really enjoy the speed scoop. The only negative thing I can think about for this head is the lack of sidewall holes. Aside from that, I love the head.

Really has helped him improve on his cradling, catching, and throwing. It is definitely worth it to have a head like this as opposed to some starter ones out there. He loves the design as well.
Used it as a two way middle, but not my favorite. I thought that the face shape and thickness of the plastic made it hard to use on offense.
