Brand new custom strung Maverik Kimera. Maverik Hyperfuse SHAFT IS ***NOT*** INCLUDED (but available via another listing). StringKing 5S, beautiful two-string liberty top string, inside strung integrated sidewalls, ARM paracord 275 (same as Lars Keil uses, much more robust than typical sidewall string), little-to-no hook,* shifty mid pocket (very versatile), great hold, very light but strong, a little extra whip. Great crank shooter for the elite offensive player (attack or midfield). * If you don't know the difference between whip and hook, it's this: Whip refers to the release angle. More whip means a lower angle. Low- to mid-whip is usually good for most players. Hook refers to the tendency for the ball to get caught up under the shooting strings and accordion the pocket at higher forces, meaning that the harder you throw, the lower the ball will release. If you're accurately throwing low- to moderate-speed passes at shorter distances but wonder why the ball goes into the ground or way off to the side when you crank back for a hard shot or long pass, it's because you're encountering hook. A lot of hook is generally not something you want. From the manufacturer: The all-new Kimera head is just as versatile as you are. We combined the best features of our top performing heads to help you score more goals, win more battles, and play through tough checks. Optimized with Force Tech, it’s the perfect blend for playing a fast-paced game on both ends of the field. The narrow bottom rail gives you more ball control, the reverse struts provide enhanced durability, and the updated throat helps you snag more GBs. Be ready for whatever the game throws at you with the Kimera head. * Triple Threat – Kimera brings versatility to your game with signature elements from three of our most popular heads: the Tactik, Kinetik, and Havok. * Play With Force – Engineered with Force Tech, this head features a strong, yet lightweight, construction built for a middie’s style of play. * Collect and Control – A new trigger throat design and upward draft angle make it easier to snag ground balls and keep possession after turnovers.
