Black Used Adult Men's 8.5 Freeze V2 box lax shoes

My 14 year old son wore these for his box season last year -- he's simply outgrown them (like everything else...). All of the games were on the c oncrete floor of one of our local rinks once they'd taken the ice out. The shoes are used, but because they're indoor box shoes, they're in really good shape (the bits of stuff on the bottoms of the soles is simply the residue from parts of the floor that might have not been swept properly). He had some custom insoles for these shoes, which replaced the original (and pretty crappy) footbeds that the shoes come with. Can't find the original footbeds, but any local shoe store will have something better anyway for about $5-10. Cost me 95-100 new. Figure 30-40 is reasonable. Now, abotu the shoes. I grew up in Canada playing box (what else), on concrete floors (didn't see carpet until juniors). Playing on concrete is treacherous without really good, 'grippy' footwear. Out of the box (no pun intended) these are about as good as you can get at this point. On most days (normal temps, normal humidty), these shoes do just fine. For extra 'stick', I use the old 'rag soaked in Coke or Pepsi' trick. Take said rag, wipe them on the soles of your shoes, and off you go. These shoes never got that treatment, so they're 'pristine' in that respect. I live basically next to a post office, so shipping in <24 hours is the norm.
