The stick still sports its familiar rounded corners and double concave sidewalls, but it now includes a double convex top and bottom. This new shaft geometry better matches the natural curvature of the hands, providing better puck control and helping to prevent the shaft from torquing (twisting) during heavy shots, thus increasing the stick’s accuracy. The shaft construction benefits from a big upgrade over the Pro model with the Sigmatex 18K carbon fiber. The industry-leading Sigmatex 18K has a flatter and thinner weave than a 12K carbon, significantly reducing weight, improving durability, and extending the Stick’s pop-life. The new hybrid kick-point design amounts to a soft-stiff-soft construction, creating a hinging action.
