The skates use a speed skate inspired, one-piece fiberglass and thermoplastic shell design that molds around the foot and provides more efficient energy transfer than traditional two-piece boots. The TF7 skates are designed to be baked and you’ll only really appreciate the comfort and fit after they’ve been properly heat-molded. Unlike other skates, the baking isn’t only to help speed up break in time, the thermoformable material actually changes shape and wraps around your feet.
