I have a pair of 8.5D Bauer 2X Pro skates that have been used for the last few seasons. Replaced the steel on them 6 months ago with the Fly-X Bauer steel and they have plenty of life left on them.

At the professional level, some NHL players use the 2X Pro and have no issues. It’s a skate that will last you. Mine are still fine to play in even after years. It's a skate built to last.
