Used them for about 7 months, 2 or 3 practices a week and 2 games a week, my 12 year old son loved these skates, but as he started a new season, they no longer fit him. So we decided to let them go. He was a forward and played center mostly. The skates have many scratches on the heel, toe area, and edge holders, but no problems with skating or protection strength. Carbon edge runners and cushioned insoles were purchased separately and used. This has improved my son's performance very much and his feet are less fatigued.
