Bought for retail in 2018, these have seen many shots and games, yet they are still functional and still provide all the top-of-the like benefits that it has like the flexible tendon guard, lock-fit pro liner, injected T-eyelets that reduce lace slippage, and a few more I’ll mention. Comes with 2 pairs for the LS5 runners(blades) that feature a carbon coating to enhance edge life. There is a newer/ less used set already on the skates seen in majority of pictures and a free set of back-up steel which are clearly more used but are still usable and come in handy if the other set breaks and you need to switch mid-game which you can with the Lightspeed Edge holder’s trigger system this skate features. The insoles are the Bauer speed plate 2.0 which are carbon fiber and can be heat molded just like the skate to fit the exact shape of your foot. List of parts if the skate and their damage: Rivets: All have rust but are still structurally sound Tendon guard: couple scratches but works as good as out of the box Eyelets: no damage other than regular use(no stitching undone that would cause them to break anytime soon.) Heels: a lot of aesthetic damage but no functional damage Lightspeed edge holders: lots marks from use but no structural breaks and have a lot of life left. Toe caps: many scratches, yet are still perfectly in tact and will protect you like out of the box. Tongue: very protective and flexible, but felt on sides is torn clearly Carbon outsole: bottom is chipped and there is an epoxy repair on outside of right skate, but shouldn’t be a big or noticeable issue. Laces: brand new LS5 runners: one set is in really good shape and backup pair is clearly used but free and good to have Boot: scratches(all aesthetic damages, no functional) Lock-Fit pro liner: worn but still comfortable and you won’t slip during your game. These have a lot of battle scars and many have been fixed and can still be used with a good amount of life left. These are great for someone looking for a high end skate with pro features like the tendon guard, tongue, injected eyelets, comfort edge pads on edge of the upper and easily replaceable steel without even paying half of the price for a top-end skate today.
