Step steel and used steel have Zuperior profile and 90/75 Flat Bottom V sharpening. 1 piece carbon fiber boot. The focus of this skate was on pure speed and a maximum range of motion. The quarter package is unique on the Mako II ice skates, featuring an inside edge that is 5mm taller to provide extra support when cutting or cornering. The outside edge, being 5mm shorter, provides full extension and increased stride frequency. The pivoting Extendon Tendon Guard allows the player to get the maximum amount of power out of their stride by allowing a full range of motion. When it comes to heat molding, there isn't a more responsive boot out there. These skates need more than DOUBLE the time of a standard skate baking, but it's worth it when they fit like a glove afterwards! On the bottom portion of the skate you will find Easton's CXN holder and ES4 Staniless Steel. The CXN holder sit taller than a traditional holder, giving you more power out of every turn, and the ES4 Steel comes with a 9' radius on it. The Mako was a revolution in the world of hockey skates.
