The Bauer APX shoulder pads are built for the ultimate range of motion without sacrificing protection. This shoulder pad features lightweight Vent Armor composite protection in the shoulder caps, sternum plate, spinal plate, and in the bicep guards. New Vent armor foam panels are also included in the chest panel and side rib panels. Together this shoulder pad reduces bulk yet increases protection for the elite hockey player. Removable extended core protection allows the shoulder pad to be customized to the players requirements. Vapor’s Free Flex System incorporates a Free Flex bicep guard and a Free Flex shoulder cap which are designed to allow the greatest range of motion during play. The multi-segmented upper body design helps the pads conform to the body to eliminate gaps in coverage during use. A 3D Thermo Max+ liner provides state of the art moisture wicking properties that help regulate body temperature and prevent build up of odors and mildew.
