CCM-RBK/Jofa Custom Shoulder Pads Men’s Medium/Large Frankenpad

This is a one-of-a-kind creation, hand sewn by me. The chest protector is from a set of CCM SP1899 shoulder pads and the caps come from a set of first generation, RBK/Jofa 4K retail shoulder pads. These caps are unique because they are lower profile than the 6K and 8K models favored by the pros of that era. I kept the adjustable bicep guard intact so you can adjust the length to your specifications. Around 2013, I was looking for a pair of lightweight, traditional design shoulder pads with upgraded shoulder protection and was unable to find anything without big, bulky caps, so I made these to fit my needs instead. They are hand-sewn using a leather awl and heavy duty carpet thread. I used these regularly for 7 years and the stitching has not needed any repairs. Pads are in good used condition. They have been machine washed and do not have any smell, but they have yellowed over time as white pads tend to do. These were reliable pads that fit my needs at the time, but now I don’t need this level of shoulder protection.
