The FT680 shin guards feature an anatomical narrow fit design, which is also found in the top two price points, that offers lightweight mobile protection for a high level of play. In the calf, CCM uses floating compressed molded mid-density foam, a lightweight material that is shaped to fit for more comfort. PE foam is used for protection in the thigh area to make sure your legs are protected from shots and stick checks. The knee and shin caps use JDP material and have an optimized anatomical geometry. The flex point in the shin guard offers more freedom of movement and disperses the impact force away from the knee joint for high level comfort and protection. For the attachments, the FT680 uses a two-strap system – a streamlined lock strap with comfort cushion and a length adjustable calf strap. This strapping system locks the pad in place for a secure feel, and allows for customization based on personal preference for how you want the pad to feel, offering the ideal snug fit. Inside the pad, CCM includes a fully removable/adjustable liner with a knee hole and ventilation ports in the shin area. The ventilation ports and sublimated lining help keep your shins cool and dry, while the knee hole provides plenty of comfort.
