The CCM HP45X hockey pants feature a padded area around the belt that provides extra hip protection. They also feature elastic material inseams that stretch to accommodate movement and flexibility within the pants. The HP45X pants have a tailored 2-piece construction that allows for a more unrestricted range of motion.

Fit is good. Maybe a bit on the bigger side. I’m on the bigger side of the scale (was 108kg when i bought and used them at first. They were a bit snugg fitting then. Weight is 100kg now and they fit well. I’m 175 cm tall.) The protection is like a brick wall. You don’t feel a thing.
These give the best protection of any pants I've worn and the fit is snugger while allowing full range of motion. They are slightly heavier than other pants but I don't notice the weight at all and the added protection is top notch.
I’m really impressed with the CCM HP45X hockey pants. They offer a great combination of protection, comfort, and mobility without feeling overly bulky. The fit is comfortable and allows for a full range of movement on the ice, while the padding provides a good sense of protection during play.
Fit well with good protection et nice comfort, very satisfied so far
Pants are light, with great mobility. Padding is excellent, however if I had one gripe, it would be that the extra padding on the hips can something interfere with the thigh flexion. Otherwise they’re great pants. Not as snug as I was worried about and open up great after a few uses.
