Great pants, like wearing a brick wall.
Fit is good. Maybe a bit on the bigger side. I’m on the bigger side of the scale (was 108kg when i bought and used them at first. They were a bit snugg fitting then. Weight is 100kg now and they fit well. I’m 175 cm tall.) The protection is like a brick wall. You don’t feel a thing.
Great Protection and Fit!
These give the best protection of any pants I've worn and the fit is snugger while allowing full range of motion. They are slightly heavier than other pants but I don't notice the weight at all and the added protection is top notch.
Great Protection and fits great!
I’m really impressed with the CCM HP45X hockey pants. They offer a great combination of protection, comfort, and mobility without feeling overly bulky. The fit is comfortable and allows for a full range of movement on the ice, while the padding provides a good sense of protection during play.
Great protection
Fit well with good protection et nice comfort, very satisfied so far
Comfy pants with loads of protection
Pants are light, with great mobility. Padding is excellent, however if I had one gripe, it would be that the extra padding on the hips can something interfere with the thigh flexion. Otherwise they’re great pants. Not as snug as I was worried about and open up great after a few uses.

What people are saying about the HP45X
👍 Pros

Great protection! Love how I can take some hard hits in these and not feel a thing.
Even though they are heavy pants, I can move really well on the ice. Love them.
I like the fit of these pants, way better than the starter pair I was given.
👎 Cons
---
Extremely heavy and bulky pants. Way heavier while playing than I thought they’d be.
As a player who prefers mobility and tries to be fast on the ice, these pads just are not for me. I will sacrifice padding to have more speed.
These never seemed to break in for me, I thought they would after a handful of games, but I think they are just built very stiff.
