Used CCM Tacks 9060 Inline Skates (Converted from Ice) - Size 8 D

What is that Alkali frame doing on those CCM boots you ask? A pro skate smith in Gardner, Massachusetts (shout-out to The Sharp Shack!) converted my ice skates to roller using the frame off my Alkali RDP Teams and my CCM 9060 boots. These "frankensteins" were the result. These were my outdoor workout and practice skates, so the boots hardly took any abuse after their brief ice career. However, as you can see, the wheels are in pretty bad shape; they'll need replaced sooner rather than later. If you prefer, I can just remove the wheels and ship them without to save you the trouble of removing them. Wheels or no, I'm shipping these with brand new, ABEC 9 bearings and spacers, and a fresh, unopened pair of 108" A&R Pro Stock waxed laces. A note about the bottoms: You can see in the photo with the wheels removed some white, hard plastic showing through where some of the outsole material had to be removed from the mounting surface to retrofit the Alkali frames. The outsole is still solid throughout. These have never been baked and I can't advise heat molding them in an oven without first consulting a professional. In terms of the feel, you'd never know they were originally ice skates. The frame mount is perfectly centered and rock solid.
