This was made possible to the True One-Piece shell that is stiffer and more rigid than multi-piece shells too. What does a stiffer shell mean to a hockey player? The extra rigidity better manages impact energy for better protection, especially on big hits or high-energy contact. The Alpha One Pro helmet has one more new trick up its sleeve, the Flow Comfort Liner and its AdaptFit 270 adjustment system. The Flow Comfort Liner features removable comfort pads that are treated with Polygiene technology to prevent odor-causing bacteria from forming but can easily be washed. AdaptFit 270 is a micro-adjustable adjustment system that provides a custom internal fit rather than the traditional front to back adjustment on traditional helmets. The safe and secure Boa Dial is tool-less and can be quickly used on the fly.
