The Ritual X utilizes Warrior's flex plate design in the upper thigh. This provides overlapping padding for great protection while at the same time offering goalies a phenomenal amount of mobility. The thigh design is nearly flat at the front and on the inner sides to offer premier net coverage and five-hole sealing. The bottom of the legs features the AxyCut taper found on the original Ritual, which helps keep the pant legs from catching on the leg pads and riding up when goalies go down into the butterfly. The AxyCut taper also allows the pants to stay more square to the shooter, allowing a bit more mobility to the legs on kick saves before the pants are forced to move. The Ritual X pants feature the same level of fit adjustability as the Pro version, with two belts and a lacing sytem comprising the custom fit system. A removable inner belt optimizes the feel around the goalie's body.
