Shell construction is hand-laid by our in-house experts with multiple layers of various types and weights of woven fiberglass, Kevlar, and carbon fiber. These materials are bonded with a high-grade epoxy resin. The Apex Low-Density Neoprene Foam Liner System features an upgraded 360-degree design that will improve comfort and protection by placing more cubic centimeters of foam inside the mask. The Canadian-made Apex Stainless Steel Certified Wire Grid Cage has been re-designed to offer greater durability and is mounted to the shell at six locations with stainless hardware and impact & vibration dampening rubber washers. Five individual 1” polyester elastic, hardware-less straps make up our “open” backplate system and allow the goalie to truly dial in their specific fit.
