Worn for 1 season but he won a tourney and the Squirt Finals so, we know they work well! Used but far from thrashed. Good seal along the ice and nice and light for young goalies. He loved them so much we got him the next size up. The toe buckle was replaced with a small carabiner clip to fit through his goalie skate hole but it works well.

The G6 pads have many customization options, and the included toe ties work great. The slide plates on the pads also help with crease movements, which are almost too much for some. The shape and angle of the leg pads above the knees are very straight, which can leave your five-hole open for players (like myself) with limited hip mobility, but the internal knee blocks do tend to stop most pucks that find their way through.
