Senior 34" + 3” Simmons Ultra Light 8 Goalie Leg Pads

These are 34+3 Don Simmons Pro Spec Ultra Light 8s. These are hand made Canadian pads which are based off of the Koho 589 pads and some of Pete Smith’s designs. They have the Tri break in them, useful if you wear the pads tighter and also can be worn more loose in the butterfly and the breaks will only occur if strapped in tightly, making them more boxy or more fluid, depending on your play style. I’m a hybrid goaltender so I’ve usually worn them more loose in the legs and feet and tight on my knees only really. These have some great knee boards with extra protection in the butterfly. With my Nike pants and these boards I’ve never needed independent knee pads to play. Which is a welcome ease in getting dressed, as it’s way easier having these attachments to the pad and pants instead. There is some cosmetic wear on right inside pad on the toe side and a smaller amount on the left pad, there are years and years left in these, but I wanted my Smith pads back. Bought these new and there's no rust and the toe slides are in great shape too. Thanks for looking. Sgt. Miller IV
