My son loved these pads because they have a more substantial fit system (velcro straps) and offered more mobility than others he tried. They were only used for 1 season and I took pics of the only 3 small ‘cuts’ to the surface material. These imperfections shouldn’t affect performance and don’t appear likely to spread.
