CCM Axis 2 Pro Goalie Pads Set (Special Edition)

Cleaning out my closet. Up for sale is my beautiful and flawless CCM Axis 2 Pro Goalie Pads Set (Special Edition) with very little use in black and size 33 + 1.5. I take super care of all my equipment. This set is in almost new condition and is probably my favorite set to date ever. I am taking a break from then playing the position and the set is just sitting there not being used. This set is a special edition set and the pads have a single break above the knee. They are very stiff, and best of all, they have a weave sliding surface as opposed to speed skin….so they slide great!!! The glove and blocker are super well balances and the glove is not even fully broken in yet. The glove had a mix of skate lace and regular lace pocket (see pic). Lastly, I shorten the calf strap (see pic) as it was too long and wasn’t securing the pads to my legs to my taste. Easy to bring back to original state undoing my sewing. I am not splitting the set at this point and not in a rush to sell. So I there is little flexibility on the price and I will only consider/respond to serious offers. It features CCM's lightweight Speed Skin material for improved glide efficiency and a combination of PE foam and D30 Smart Material for better impact absorption, protection, and flexibility. Additionally, the glove includes a redesigned catching pocket for enhanced puck handling.

The CCM Axis 2 Pro is my favorite set to use. They have a solid inside edge, so you visibly can’t see a gap between the inside gusset and knee block; It looks like it's all one piece. It helps in sliding, and it has a very flat face as well. They redesigned the glove and blockers, making them a lot lighter. They have a very unique strapping system across the back of the hand. Instead of having individual finger stalls where you put your hand into the glove, there are no individual finger stalls but ratchet straps across your hand (I call it an oven mitt glove). Not everyone likes it. This specific strapping is found on the 591 break option. I had a really bad tendon surgery, so I don't have the best hand strength. For me, the "oven mitt glove" works well.
