JH edition of Iconik leg pads, 33 +1.5 Spicing things up for our JH Spec Brian’s ICON1K gear we have gone with this custom Sparks themed graphic to separate things from the stock graphic . This collection carries a very familiar feel for those Gnetik users with some improvements, we have a redesigned core to the pad, one piece knee block, thinned out profile, squared off outside roll and a simplified flex profile. The pad still has the primo material on the inside sliding edge, smart cord toe strap and a removable knee flap. Flex Profiles & Toe Taper Moving away from the numbering system Brian’s has gone with two flex profiles, Regular & Stiff. The Regular profile is closer to the stock Gnetik profile and the Stiff is straighter and more rigid at the thigh. For these sets we have gone with the regular flex profile and a 90 degree toe taper. Core & Profile With the use of BRI-CORE they were able to redesign the core of the pad making it 20% lighter than the Gnetik core. This does not take away any structural integrity of the pad as the addition of BRI-CORE to the thigh of the pad keeps the pad firm and holding up to any intense shot throughout the year. With this redesigned core they also were able to have a thinner profile to the pad for a cleaner overall look Strapping Holding the pad to your leg is a simplified calf strap that is fully adjustable for your comfort level without affecting the rotation of the pad, they also have an optional upper calf strap which we have have gone with on our custom sets. JH Optik 3 glove and blocker. Brian’s Optik 3 which brings to this family BRICORE for added durability in key areas of the gloves. The Catcher has a similar 40 degree break angle with a fixed break like the Optik 2, the cuff of the glove features the BRICORE to help reduce any chances of the cuff from pulling back at all. The gloves come with the BOA system in them to make sure they stay nice and tight throughout the game without causing any interference for mobility. The matching blocker we kept that with a standard senior size palm, the face of the board has added BRICORE to give a hotter rebound off the face along with providing additional durability and longer life out of the board. The cuff has a more open feel to it and lower position for adjustment with the same BOA system. Glove is well on its way be to broken in
