Pics should show all the key points! The Brian’s leg pads are in pretty good shape for their age and have plenty of life left in them. Skate lace toe ties. All straps and buckles work. There is one picture of a cracked calf strap buckle on the right leg pad, but the buckle still works just fine. The knee blocks are extremely soft for landings, and these leg pads are surprisingly light despite the old school strapping setup. They slide well, and the knee blocks and lower leg sliding sections are in great shape. There is some slight wear on the lower binding on the inside part of the boot area. Overall, there’s lots of lift left in these leg pads, and they would be great for someone who likes old school strapping style. The Vaughn blocker is a 7600 Pro Spec Construction. The palm definitely has some wear on it, but is definitely still usable. If you got this blocked re-palmed, it would be set for years. It’s pretty light, easy to move, and feels very responsive when working on directing the puck to safe spots. The Vaughn glove is a 7680 Pro Spec Construction. This glove is BUTTER with the closure. It almost wants to close the minute the puck hits it. Pocket lacing is in great shape. The nylon lacing on the lower edge of the pocket could use replacing, but I’ve played many times with this glove and it hasn’t really seen a ton more wear. Like with the blocker, a little TLC and this glove would be great for years of use. Both gloves have little to no smell to them. I try to keep all of my stuff as clean as possible! For sizing reference, my ATK measurement is 17.5”, skate size 11, and with a little bit of strapping/toe tie lengthening, I was able to land pretty squarely on the knee blocks every time. Only selling due to upgrading to a more modern strapping setup with my new full set.
