KOHO Revolution 587 Combo (36+2) Toronto Colours

Rare size and Toronto colour. Will not separate. Classified as an Intermediate set. However, I have played this position since 1976, all of the way through the Collegiate level and now top level beer leagues. I also own a combo set of the KOHO Revolution 589 Vintage Pro and in direct comparison this set for sale is not that much different. Yes, some of the rivets are not as beefy, but overall they feel and fit is the same. Bought them in the Spring of 2017 for full price because this size sells very quickly and getting a matching set of gloves would have been difficult. I purchased them to rotate in with my aforementioned set once a week during the season. Therefore, they have seen the ice no more than 30 times. I did take them to the 2017 & 2018 USA Hockey National Championships and they performed as well as my Pro set in the 4 games in 3 days both years. Didn’t need to rotate in during summer months because I rested those months. The reason for selling them now is that I am not on the ice as much as previous years and they have not been used since the 2018 tourney in April, so they need a good home and goalie to put them to proper use. Also, I am feeling guilty that I am hoarding this set of excellent equipment. As an ice hockey goalie of 4 decades I know how to take care of my equipment and make adjustment to them that don’t affect fit and enhance performance. The adjustments made to this set is similar to my custom 589 Pro set. Specifically, the optional thigh guards were removed along with all of the leather straps and buckles so that the pads could be lighter and have less obstacles to get hung up on. All of the removed pieces will be included with this sale. Additionally, the thigh pads included are upgraded because they are coming from my Pro set. I believe in full disclosure which is why I need to mention the small cut on the blocker white finger padding trim. This is just a material, and not a padding, cut. I could easily fix it, but it doesn’t bother me or is noticeable when playing. Because I have taken such extreme care of this set I believe my price is fair. You will be hard pressed to find a used set as nice as these. Also, I still have the original box so I know my shipping information is accurate.
