This is a very rare pro-spec Itech RX9 Pro full set in black / red with the carbon fiber look. These are top pro quality pads made in Canada. The sizing is list as a 36 +1, but they do run a bit smaller, more like a 35. I am 5' 11" and they fit me well. This is a pad that is equally comfortable for a hybrid or butterfly goalie. The pads are flexible for reaction, but slide really well and seal the ice (take a look at the sliders for the knee and calves. The knee stack is super comfortable when dropping into a butterfly. As you can see by the pics, they are in excellent condition.
The pads have multiple adjustments in terms of the straps and their angles for custom adjustability. They also have the original thigh / knee guards that are tied into the pad, but can easily be removed if you want to use standalone knee Guards. These are solid pads, super comfortable, light, and very responsive. Extra wrap around protection on the back of the legs. High quality, as you can tell by how well they have worn.
The blocker is also the RX9 Pro Spec Itech model. The blocker is very protective and feels comfortable to use, flexible adjustments on the wrist. The blocker is in excellent condition, except there is a hole in the first finger. I don't notice it while playing, but an easy fix to patch it or re-palm. This is an excellent blocker in terms of protection, feel, mobility and weight.
The catcher is the only part that is not Itech. I didn't like the feel of the Itech RX9 Pro Glove, so I went with a Lefevre Pro model (private labeled as an RBK). This is truly a pro glove. Pro palm, never a stinger. Top quality, hand made in Canada (look up he company name - lots of NHL goalies using this equipment). The glove had multiple layers of adjustment in the hands and fingers. The glove is in amazing condition. It has the matching black and red colors, but it did not come in the carbon pattern, but it's not even noticeable on the ice. However, it is the best glove I have ever used.
This set still rivals most of the sets on the market today, even though it is a bit older. However, it's truly a pro spec level at a fraction of the price. The set looks awesome. really comfortable to play in, and can handle the hardest shots. For the price you can't even buy the cheap Chinese stuff for what you can get this set for. If you are looking for a quality set of equipment without breaking the bank, this set might be worth considering.
These are used pieces of equipment and there will be evidence of that. Please look at the pics carefully. If you need any additional information or pics, please feel free to to contact me. I will consider reasonable offers, but please, no low balls and I am not interested in trades.
