One of the biggest improvements I've noticed is my ability to push out from the net. The V9s provide a solid foundation that allows me to generate more power and control my movements. I've also found that the Quick Slide material makes a huge difference in my ability to move laterally on the ice. If you need a solid, stiff pad, these are a great option.
