CCM 579 Goalie Set - 34+2. Condition is Pre-owned. Pads were used once, Glove and Blocker 6 times. In excellent shape overall. PADS - The CCM Revolution pays homage to the legendary design from the Leferve family and has new features desired by today’s goalie. The Revolution 579 pads have a new cosmetic design that features a completely flat face with a graphic inspired by the original Koho 570 line. This flat face allows today’s butterfly goaltender to have predictable rebounds and easily steer pucks into the corner with speed. In addition to the construction and graphic, the internal structure of the pad features a double internal break above and below the knee which will allow the pad to seal the ice and close at the five hole. Continuing on the build of the pad, the sliding surface of the 579 pad features a completely flat inner gusset, which is similar to the design on the Extreme Flex line. The knee and calf wing feature a similar design to the Premier pad giving the most contact surface on the ice to give the goalie a better seal in the butterfly. In the knee area, the 579 features soft foam with an elastic strap that can attach directly next to the knee, or down to the calf. The leg channel features an Offset Loose Fit design with two angled calf straps and a Velcro calf lock. This design allows for the goalies pad to hang more towards the five hole, effectively allowing the pads to drop the ice faster into the butterfly position. The boot section of the pad is a Deep Ultra Soft design which gives the goalie the perfect amount of flex in the boot so the skate can effectively dig into the ice and allow the goaltender to push into position. The boot strap is now fully removable so the goalie can either replace or remove the strap with ease. BLOCKER Building on the already classic and popular feel of the Premier and Extreme Flex blockers, the Revolution 579 offers the best combination of feel and protection. The 579 blocker has a thick HD foam board over the back of the hand which directs pucks out of danger. New on this model, the sidewall and face of the blocker are entirely bindingless, giving the 579 an extremely clean look with improved wear spots. The index finger protection is an original straight design which covers the index finger while holding the stick. GLOVE Continuing the already high popularity from the CCM Premier and Koho Revolution 589 gloves, the Revolution 579 glove is a beautiful continuation of one of the most popular gloves on the market, the 590 degree break. The 590 break features a 60 degree closure that sits naturally on the hand giving some of the most game ready feel off of the shelf. The cuff is a true one piece design which gives rigidity to the glove and allows for more blocking surface when in blocking situations.
