I played with college kids who can really put some power into shots and it performed GREAT, never a stinger. I would absolutely keep this monster if I still played with them or any "real" teams, however a chronic ankle injury has made me step down a few notches so my light duty chesty is now what I'll use. I take care of my gear!!!! After EVERY use, I spray down and put in front of a fan to dry....NO SMELL. I did make a non permanent modification with tape. I like both shoulder floaters connected at the bottom and the straps a little tighter than just elastic. You can simply take the tape off if you don't like, but I think it's much better so I'll leave for the new buyer to decide. Nothing wrong with this chesty. Enjoy it!
