This was my primary chest protector for about 5 years but I started playing in high-level tournaments and feeling the shots a little too much. This would be a perfect chesty for any D/C-level goalies or anyone just getting started, but I wouldn't recommend it for any levels with consistently powerful shooters. The removable ab extensions are included.
At one point the "lace" holding the arm into the chest disintegrated so I replaced it with actual lace; you'll probably want to do the same for the other side as well, but I didn't do it yet because the material used will be up to wearer preference.
