HOCKEY SMELL - No stink! Little to no odor. We apologize, typical being a USED item. We spray disinfectant febreze to minimize smell. Recommend to continually air out item after each game & spray febreze or clean interior. For shipping purposes, we place scented dryer sheets inside item.

**notable issues:
Missing: Elbow pads. Appears, the elbow pads on both arms were cut. We don't know why? We are including a replacement player elbow pads. To explain, manufacturer's use the same type of elbow pads inside goalie equipment, as regular gear for youth players.
SUGGESTIONS: Buyer can put the elbow pads on first, then put chest pad on OR for a more secure fit buyer can glue or sew the elbow pads to the fabric straps. IF applicable, take item to a local shoemaker for a economical quick attachment. Make sure your youth player adjust to fit, before making any permanent changes.
Cosmetic wear - Yes, typical from usage.
Dust/dirt spottings, puck marks - Yes.
Rips/Tears: We only see the cut portion or excess material where the elbow pads used to be placed. Nothing serious.
Elastic straps & clips: All are present. Straps are alittle worn & stretched out, but straps can be adjusted according to buyers comfort & fit. Even the straps near missing elbow pads are present.
