CCM Extreme Flex Shield Senior Goalie Chest Protector Mobility and Fit The E-Flex Shield is a unique new age chest protector that maintains a snug, near anatomical fit through the body and arms. The Shield has adopted the same adjustment system of the beloved Premier Line, with a full Velcro system that allows you to adjust the height and weight of the floaters guaranteeing the best fit possible. Compression molded HD and EPP foams create a snug fit through the arms and to the elbows, which can be adjusted independently from the rest of the pad for the most secure fit possible. Protection and Durability While the Extreme Flex Shield is snug and efficient, it certainly doesn't give anything up in terms of protection. Featuring two new foams to hockey from parent company Adidas, the specialization of materials sets these apart. The first of which, Adiprene, has been installed throughout the torso meaning these pads have excellent impact absorbing properties, and makes managing rebounds a breeze. Meanwhile, Adiprene+ has been inserted into the shoulder wings (floaters). Unlike its counterpart, Adiprene+ is designed to force pucks to rebound harder, amplifying it's momentum and ensuring it keeps moving past the net.
