Small CCM Extreme Flex Shield E2.9 Goalie Chest Protector (Used)

This item is used. In my opinion it is relatively light and breathable. More mobile and lighter than the prior E1.9 version. It is too small for me at 5'10" (though the arms fit perfectly). With a similar design to the pro level Extreme Flex Shield II Chest and Arm, the E2.9 is a great option at the mid-price point. The Extreme Flex Shield E2.9 chest protector features a dual segmented design for maximum chest and arm flexibility and mobility. This dual segmented design separates zones of the chest and arms to make the flex points more pliable for a game ready feel right off the shelf. The hard-capped elbow protection is also fully adjustable and segmented from the arm floaters for the best feel and mobility. The Extreme Flex Shield E2.9 chest protector will feature a mid to elite level of protection. Although there is no D30 smart material which is found in the Shield II Pro version, there is still muilti segmented HD/LD foams in the chest and body, molded HD foam in the sternum and a removable rib protector for additional protection when in a RVH position. The Extreme Flex E2.9 chest and arm will present large to the shooter due compression molded HD foam shoulder caps, but with the quick release Velcro adjustment on the shoulder wings you can keep them from interfering with your goalie mask. The E3.9 chest protector will provide great protection, mobility, and size at a mid-price point.
