I only bought this because I thought my Brown chesty was officially done…as there were a few broken pieces and loose straps. After purchasing this tank, I wanted to do a few mods which I’ve pictured. After finding a professional skilled seamstress, I went ahead with the following. 1. I’ve heard/seen/witnessed the front loop straps on these models tend to easily rip if you tie your pants down hard and tuck. So I had the seamstress reinforce the loop with multiple stitches and around the back of the belly portion (pictured) now there’s no way the loop will detach. 2. Since I tuck my chest protector into my pants and my cup is bulky, I asked to have the bottom belly flap (which is pointless in my opinion as it offers zero protection) professionally and carefully removed. You can see the seam carefully sown making it look like it came like that straight from the factory. I’m also including the original belly flap since I kept it. If it’s important for you to have it back on the chest protector, you can either stitch it in yourself or go to your local seamstress/tailor and have them do it. A job like this is usually $10-20 bucks. And last, since I tuck and use suspenders over my chest protector, I’ve attached removable Velcro straps on the shoulder floaters to keep the suspenders in place. The seamstress did such a great job with this, I brought her my Brown chesty and she was able to revive it for me so since I now have new found years on it, and it’s broken in perfectly, I have no use for this CCM beauty. Rather than have it lay around for years, I’m selling it so it can find a useful home. Also, even though I’ve never worn this specific chesty in game play, I’ve demo’d 3 diff fits of this. To put things into perspective, I’m 6’1 and 185 pounds. I’m a large in a Brown, a Bauer, Warrior etc. the Fit 3 was huge and bulky, the Fit 2 was still a bit uncomfortably large but the Fit 1 fits perfectly. Since the arms are adjustable, you can move them up or down to fit your needs and the bulk of this thing hugs your torso and fits ideally. Still noticeably bigger than the others but with that uniformed look. Hopefully, I’ve covered everything. If you have any questions, please ask.
