Product Description

Titleist 917F2 fairway woods provide all-around playability and forgiveness in a larger profile head, and offer slightly more spin and a higher launch trajectory compared to the 917F3. Featuring a Variable Thickness Face Insert, more speed is created around the perimeter of the club face for added distance and greater consistency on off-center hits. The Active Recoil Channel 2.0 provides more flex at impact in order to reduce spin and increase ball speeds, while the Radial Speed Face 2.0 is designed to increase distance even on mis-hits. The SureFit CG allows the center of gravity of the club head to be adjusted with interchangeable weights for the ultimate customization of spin and launch conditions. The industry leading SureFit Hosel offers 16 independent loft and lie settings for optimal precision fitting.

Expert Notes

These traditional-looking fairway woods provide increased distance with slightly more spin and higher launch compared to the 917F3. You’ll experience faster ball speeds across the face and easy adjustability with the SureFit CG and SureFit Hosel. The 917F2 is larger than the 917F3, and has a fuller pear shape. 917F2 woods have a “liquid black” look instead of plain black, for a silky look. You will find it is easy to hit off the deck, as the ball jumps right off the face upon impact. Overall, these fairway woods are fun to play and swing hard with.
