Has been given a new 1mm red Vulcan grip. Looking to buy a different bat, so I'm moving this one on to free up some spare funds. Asking $200 OBO. Will ship within the US. The catch? There's two hairline cracks low in the taper, as seen in photo 7. Photo 6 shows what looks like a third crack, but I'm pretty confidant that one's only in the paint. But there's no getting around the fact that this bat IS cracked, and I'm not glossing over that. The upside is that the hairlines are low enough in the taper that they haven't made the bat dead yet, as it still passes the ping test. I can provide a video of that to anyone interested. There are also no cracks in the barrel itself (from the logos onward); so at least until this bat eventually gives up the ghost it can still hit bombs. Other then the ~2 cosmetic hairlines, the bat is in overall decent condition; I don't think this bat saw a whole lot of use back in the day. There are relatively few scratches in the paint, and no dents or gouges. I think a couple bad hits off the hands caused some unfortunate hairlines in the taper. So as-is the bat's still got life in it, but how much longer that is I can't say. I think this would be a very good contender for someone who wants one of these old bats to take to the cages for BP without wanting to shell out $500-1k on a super clean one, which themselves are getting harder and harder to find. These old c-cores are getting harder and harder to find in good shape, and this would be a good "beater" bat for anybody who doesn't want to risk damaging a mint c-core or who just wants one that still looks clean enough from a distance to put on their wall. I'm totally open to offers, and if the general consensus is that my expectations are off the mark then I'll adjust accordingly. I don't sell bats very often, so my idea of an asking price may not be totally accurate. Thanks for reading.
