The Meta is a classic and a popular bat for good reason. This one has plenty of pop left. Enlarge the photos. The marks on the barrel are cosmetic, from spikes only. It has no structural damage (no cracks, no rattles). I removed the old pine tar and regripped it with a brand new Alienpros blackout, over a removable taper. It feels great. But, if you don't like the taper, for whatever reason, it will be easy to switch out.
