Marucci CatX Composite Drop 8 (31/23)

Great condition!! Purchased this bat new, directly from Marucci on 25 January 2023. I thought my 11 year old son was ready to move up from a drop 10. He was dragging this bat through the zone and his hitting coach recommended we stay with his 31/21 for a while since he’s got fast hands. He pulled it out of his bag just a handful of times during the summer season but it mostly stayed in an individual sleeve in his catchers bag. It was used only by my son in maybe a dozen live at bats. Lessons and practices were soft toss and live instructor pitching only. Never used with a pitching machine or heavy balls. It was broken in per general recommendation. The bat has been well taken care of but there are a couple things to point out: 1. We had the bat personalized from Marucci. The name “GAVATRON” is etched into the stem near the grip. I’ve highlighted it in one of the pictures. 2. One of the pictures shows a close up of some scuff marks. It’s just cosmetic but I wanted to call it out separately. The rest of the bat is in great shape.
