This is a great bug barrel bat that’s in perfect condition besides paint scratches from normal wear and tear. It was always stored in a bag and has no dents or dings like some aluminum bats are prone to getting. The grip tape is LizardSkins American flag pattern with some American flag hockey stick tape securing it. The hockey tape doesn’t fail like the vinyl tape they all come with.

The Marucci CAT 8 features AZ105 Alloy, the strongest aluminum in Marucci's lineup, allowing for thinner barrel walls and improved durability. With its one-piece alloy construction and tapered handle with a soft-touch grip, batters gain better control at the plate.

The CAT8 is an older model from 2019 and a good BBCOR and USSSA bat. Very good performing bat with a sound that players love. Lightweight and easy to swing. It's probably one of the best sellers, and since the CAT8 is still available, it's perhaps one of the better bang for the buck. Prices dropped for this older model. So, it is a good match for an entry-level player on a tight budget.
